The Shield

NBN recommended that DTR and I watch the TV show, The Shield. We have been renting them and watching them, ahem, while we work. The show is really well done. If you haven't seen it yet, you should. It's a new take on the classic story of a cop who does things his own way to clean up the streets of LA. My favorite scene so far was a gang member's funeral and all of his boys were drinking 40oz at the funeral and as one walks by the casket, he pours one out for his dead hommie...Any show that glorifies the drinking of the 40 is ok with me! The only thing missing is a little orange juice.

That was a classic moment especially when the guy who poured out the forty proceeded to take a big pull from the forty than threw up some gang signs...aaahhhhhh how I miss the LBC. It was like watching a snoop dog video in the early 90's. Damn-it I could go for a brass monkey right now

Didn't he pour it onto the casket? That's how I remember it. That's just wrong.

So wrong....

*throws gang sign*
