The Shield

NBN recommended that DTR and I watch the TV show, The Shield. We have been renting them and watching them, ahem, while we work. The show is really well done. If you haven't seen it yet, you should. It's a new take on the classic story of a cop who does things his own way to clean up the streets of LA. My favorite scene so far was a gang member's funeral and all of his boys were drinking 40oz at the funeral and as one walks by the casket, he pours one out for his dead hommie...Any show that glorifies the drinking of the 40 is ok with me! The only thing missing is a little orange juice.

It has been forever since I hashed and DTR and I bought our tickets to Colorado Springs today for BFE!!! I am very excited to drink a whole bunch of yummy beer and hang out with crazy people. Kimchi compound, what what!

Baseball

Now that I live in Houston, a lot of my friends are obsessed with baseball...Now, growing up a Dodger fan is rough. Having 5, yes that number IS 5 Rookie of the years in a row and not winning a World Series since 1988 is unaccaptable! A lot of Sports People who are "in the know" say the Dodgers have a good team this year, but we will see...

Tonight while DTR is flying into Colorado Springs, I am sitting here trying to keep the hope alive for the Lakers who are playing the Phoenix Suns. Lamar and Luke are going to need to step it up a little. Kobe has 50 and the Lakers LOOSE!!! How is that possible you ask? It's the Lakers...heartbreaking in some moments but great nevertheless.

I don't really have many current pictures of myself so here is one of my best friend Natasha and me at her condo in LB. I just got to hang out with her for the first time in Las Vegas and sucked her into my degenerate world of gambling. We played no limit Texas hold em and she took Vegas by storm!
